The making of ‘Fearless’ – Pastel lion artwork……..
This is one of my larger pastel paintings and here is a little bit of the process that goes into it. The planning of a drawing like this begins long before putting pastel to paper.
I wanted to convey a sense of power with this drawing and as well as some close up detail. The composition is over to one side as I wanted to break away from a more traditional portrait style.
